If you’re a cat parent, you know how hard it can be to leave your fur baby behind when life takes you out of town. That’s why I’m so happy to share Cats Cradle Luxury Cat Hotel in Black Mountain, a place that went above and beyond for our own cat when we needed it most.

Private Rooms, Cozy Spaces and Catios

Cats Cradle is a beautiful property designed with cats in mind. Instead of cages, cats have their own private rooms with big windows, cozy beds, heated floors and plenty of room to stretch out and relax. Some rooms even have private, enclosed outdoor patios, known as catios, where cats can safely enjoy a little fresh air and sunshine.

Our cat absolutely loved his patio so much that we’re now planning to build one at home! And it’s just precious to walk around the property and see the kitties stretched out in the sunshine, enjoying their own little vacation.

So Much Love, Playtime and Personal Attention

Cats Cradle gives its guests opportunities to leave their rooms and explore the main play area, with staff spending time playing with and caring for them throughout their stay. They also accommodate individual needs, including administering medications.
One of my favorite things was receiving text messages with updates about our cat in the morning and again at night. Those little updates meant so much, especially when we were away for extended periods. You never have to wonder how your cat is doing, and that kind of reassurance is priceless.

Bring a Little Piece of Home

You can bring your cat’s own food, favorite treats, toys, and familiar bedding from home. That blanket that smells like you or the bed they love to curl up in can help make their stay feel a little more familiar.

We loved knowing our cat was being cared for with that kind of attention to his individual needs.

The Cat Shuttle Makes It Even Easier

Another wonderful perk for us was the pickup and delivery service. Since we live between Asheville and Black Mountain and were in and out of town for several months, having Cats Cradle pick up and bring our cat back to us was incredibly convenient.

Coming home and knowing your cat can be brought right to you is such a thoughtful service, especially when you’ve already been traveling.

A Black Mountain Gem for Cat Lovers

We unexpectedly needed to board our cat much longer than we ever would have planned, and Cats Cradle made the entire experience as stress-free as possible. Our cat was incredibly well cared for, and we never felt like we had to worry about him.

They truly gave him the royal treatment, and I can’t recommend them enough to anyone looking for a special place for their cat to stay.
