WNC Build & Remodel Expo Returns March 21–22
Thinking about building, renovating, or simply dreaming about your next home project?
The WNC Build & Remodel Expo returns to the WNC Agricultural Center on Saturday, March 21 (10 AM–6 PM) and Sunday, March 22 (11 AM–4 PM), bringing together Western North Carolina’s top builders, remodelers, designers, and home experts for a weekend of inspiration and practical guidance.
Hosted and produced by the Builders Association of the Blue Ridge Mountains, the Expo is designed to help homeowners connect directly with trusted local professionals. Whether you’re planning a major renovation, exploring design ideas, or just beginning to think about future improvements, the event offers an easy way to compare options, ask questions, and gather ideas all in one place.
Explore Local Home Experts
Throughout the weekend, attendees can explore exhibits from local companies showcasing everything from custom homes and remodeling services to materials, outdoor living solutions, cabinetry, flooring, and more.
It’s an opportunity to meet the people who build and shape homes across Western North Carolina and learn how they approach projects in our unique mountain environment.
Build Better Stage
One of the highlights of the Expo is the Build Better Stage, where local experts lead short, practical sessions on topics homeowners care about most.
Sessions will cover subjects like financing a renovation, modular construction, aging-in-place design, native landscaping, healthy homes, and understanding the true costs of building and remodeling.
These presentations are included with admission and are designed to provide clear, real-world insight you can actually use.
Designer Showcase
New this year, the Expo introduces a Designer Showcase, featuring curated interior spaces created by local designers that highlight current color, materials, and styling trends.
Visitors can see how professionals bring a concept to life and gather inspiration for their own spaces.
Pawrade of Homes
The event also includes the Pawrade of Homes, a creative doghouse design and building competition featuring local high school students.
These imaginative miniature homes showcase craftsmanship, creativity, and the next generation of skilled trades.
A Weekend for the Whole Family
Families are welcome at the Expo, with interactive activities for kids and plenty to explore for anyone interested in how homes are built and improved.
For many attendees, the biggest value is simply having so many knowledgeable professionals in one place. Instead of searching online or scheduling multiple consultations, visitors can meet local experts face-to-face, ask questions, and start building relationships with the people who may help bring their future projects to life.
Western North Carolina is known for its craftsmanship and distinctive homes, and the WNC Build & Remodel Expo celebrates that local expertise while helping homeowners make informed decisions.
